What 𗳧 means
The Unicode label identifies the code point, not the Tangut word.
Tangut vocabulary and the surrounding passage give the character its reading. Historical sources can draw one character differently. Unicode uses one code for forms that do not distinguish words within a source, so a font difference alone does not mean a different character.
Western Xia created Tangut around 1036 to support the state and Buddhist texts. The script also recorded Chinese and Tibetan works, official and private records, and secular writing. It remained in use under Yuan and Ming rule, becoming obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty.
Best treated as a character from historical Tangut writing.
It may resemble Chinese writing, but 𗳧 is Tangut, not a Chinese character.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗳧 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
