What 𗶨 means
It is the Tangut verb for reaching. Tangut was a distinct historical language with its own script, so this is not a Chinese character.
Tangut script was developed for the Western Xia state around 1036. It carried Buddhist translations and other religious and secular works, and remained in use into the Yuan and early Ming before becoming obsolete.
Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut dictionary lists 𗶨 as entry 2995, a modern reference rather than a date for the character’s first use.
