What 𗼍 means
It represents a Tangut word glossed “close relative.”
Older encoded Tangut data also used this code point for a “god” or “deity” reading. Unicode 13.0 separated that reading into 𘴂, so an older chart or tool may give 𗼍 a different gloss. Check when the source was encoded before translating it.
Why was Tangut writing created?
Tangut writing served a new state and its Buddhist canon. The Tangut emperor Li Yuanhao ordered the script's creation in 1036 to support his state's identity and a Tangut Buddhist canon, a collection of sacred texts. It also marked a cultural distinction from Song China.
Surviving Tangut texts include Buddhist scriptures, Confucian classics, encyclopedias, military treatises, and literature. A manuscript from Khara-khoto probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century. Tangut drew on Chinese writing principles. The neighboring Khitan people had their own scripts, a useful comparison but not a direct parent of Tangut.
Historical and specialist; the gloss depends on which encoding a Tangut source uses.
If you mean “god,” check whether the source predates Unicode 13.0.
