What 𗶮 means
It means “to jump” in Tangut.
Tangut writing was created for the Tangut language under Western Xia (Xixia) around 1036. It appeared in official, private, and religious texts. Its square characters can resemble Chinese, but Tangut is a separate script and language.
The Unicode label is generated from the code point; it is an inventory name, not the character’s translation.
Tangut writing outlasted Western Xia
After the state fell, Tangut writing continued through the Yuan and Ming periods before falling out of use.
