What 𗷙 means
It means “colt,” a young horse.
A Tangut word list, Homophones, records the gloss “colt.” One edition instead has 𗌻 in the entry; Unicode character documentation treats that as a variant or possible mistake, not evidence that the two characters are the same.
The Tangut script was created under the first Western Xia emperor around 1036 to write the Tangut language. It appeared in official, private, and religious writing, including Buddhist sutras. After Western Xia fell, it continued under the Yuan and Ming dynasties and became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty.
Historical and scholarly: 𗷙 stands for the recorded Tangut word “colt,” not horses in general.
The gloss names a colt, not horses of every kind.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗷙 show as a box?
The fonts available to your app lack Tangut glyph support. A Tangut-capable font is needed to display it; the box is a rendering failure.
