What 𗹉 means
It is a Tangut character glossed “bent.” Its reconstructed Tangut reading is written gjow² in scholarly transcription.
Tangut was a writing system for the Tangut language, developed as the official script of the Western Xia state in the 11th century for government, diplomacy, and cultural writing. Although its structure drew on Chinese writing, it was a separate script. Tangut also appeared in Buddhist printing and inscriptions. After Western Xia fell, it continued in Yuan and Ming period texts and was rediscovered in the late 19th century.

A missing-glyph box points to missing font support; it does not mean the character changed.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗹉 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
