What 𗺄 means
It is a Tangut character a dictionary describes as “greasy.”
Tangut writing was created by imperial order in 1036 for Western Xia state-building and a Buddhist canon in the Tangut language. It drew on Chinese writing and an earlier government script used by the Khitan, but Tangut and Chinese were separate writing systems that could not be read as one another. A Tangut manuscript from Khara-Khoto, dated to the 12th or early 13th century, shows the wider script in use; that date does not establish when 𗺄 itself first appeared.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗺄 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
