What 𗼥 means
A Tangut dictionary indexes it under the English gloss “power.”
Li Fanwen’s Tangut–Chinese Dictionary lists entry 3440 under “power”; Unicode links this glyph to that entry. The English gloss names a Tangut word, not a universal icon.
Created in 1036 under ruler Li Yuanhao, Tangut writing served Western Xia state-building and a distinct Tangut identity beside Song China. Its design drew on Chinese writing and nearby Khitan models. Tangut books contain Buddhist scriptures, Chinese translations, and secular works. A Khara-khoto manuscript probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century; a Buddhist canon, or collection of scriptures, was one likely goal.
Historical Tangut text; its form is drawn by the font, not supplied as standardized emoji artwork.
“Power” is an English dictionary gloss, not a general modern icon meaning.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗼥 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
