What 𗼩 means
It means “a happily married couple” in Tangut.
If it appears as a box, the font may lack this Tangut glyph; choose one with Tangut coverage.
Why was the Tangut script made?
It let Xixia write Tangut in its own script. Xixia, or Western Xia, was a state in northwestern China. Its first emperor introduced the script around 1036; Tangut scholar Nie Hongyin also interprets it as an assertion of distinct culture.
Official, private and Buddhist texts used Tangut. It continued after Xixia fell to the Mongols in 1227; the latest known inscription dates to 1502. Its squared forms resemble Chinese writing, but Tangut is a separate script.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
