What 𗼵 means
It is glossed “stake” in Tangut.
A stake is a pointed post driven into the ground or used to hold something in place.
Tangut is the writing system of the Tangut language. It was devised in 1036 for the Western Xia state: officials used it for records, schools, and bilingual diplomacy, and Buddhist texts were translated and printed with carved wooden blocks. Tangut writing continued after Western Xia fell in 1227; a known Tangut inscription dates to 1502.
