What 𗾹 means
It is glossed as “for a particular person, occasion, or purpose.”
The Tangut script was created around 1036 under Western Xia ruler Li Yuanhao for state-building and Buddhist texts. It followed earlier Khitan scripts and Chinese writing principles, but did not derive from Chinese. Ruins at Khara-khoto in Inner Mongolia preserve Tangut and Chinese books, including Buddhist and secular works. Writing continued during the Yuan and Ming dynasties, then became obsolete by the end of the Ming period.
Unicode unifies some historical Tangut glyph variants under one character; fonts can draw it differently.
