What 𗿜 means
It means “fragrant.” Scholars reconstruct its reading as lie².
The Western Xia state introduced its own writing system, the Tangut or Xixia script, in 1036 to support government, distinguish its identity from Song China, and produce Buddhist texts. A Khara-khoto manuscript fragment dates to the 12th or early 13th century.
