What 𘅂 means
The Tangut dictionary meaning is “thatched shed.”
𘅂 is a Tangut character, from the writing system used for the Tangut language in the Western Xia kingdom of northwestern China. The script was modeled on Chinese character styles but writes another language. Introduced for state use in 1036, this date does not say when 𘅂 first appeared. Tangut texts covered government, classics and Buddhist translations; neighboring Khitan and Jurchen states also developed scripts. Western Xia fell in 1227, but a Juyong Pass stone inscription dated 1345 shows Tangut persisted. Documents found at Khara-Khoto, an abandoned Western Xia city, in 1907 and 1909 helped scholars decipher it.

1Why does 𘅂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
