What 𘇊 means
Use a Tangut lookup tool keyed to Li Fanwen entry 2046. That number identifies its dictionary entry; a lookup tool can turn the reference into the character for Tangut input.
As of 2026, Tangut Yinchuan and Noto Serif Tangut are available font examples. Fonts may draw the same character differently, but its identity stays the same.
What does 𘇊 mean?
It means “old” in Tangut. Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut–Chinese Dictionary gives “old” as its gloss.
A 2010 Unicode proposal dates Tangut script’s creation to about 1036 under Li Yuanhao for the Western Xia kingdom. It served official, private, and religious writing, continued through the Yuan dynasty and into the early Ming, and has latest examples dated to the late 15th or early 16th century.
Specialist and archival: it points to Tangut text or a reproduction, not a familiar chat mood.
If you mean “old,” include the translation; the character alone may not be understood.
