What 𘉕 means
It is glossed as “seek” or “search.”
Established around 1036 for the Western Xia state, Tangut writing served Buddhist translations and printing from carved wooden blocks; it continued after the dynasty ended, and the latest known example is from 1502. Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary gives the scholarly reading sju; a homonym study (characters sharing a reading) gives ²len₄. These are specialist reading notations, not English translations.
Historical and specialist; neutral in a Tangut study context.
