What 𘋏 means
It refers to one person being talked about in Tangut.
An English index to a Tangut dictionary glosses it as “he.” The strokes alone do not reveal that reading; it comes from the surrounding Tangut sentence.
The Tangut script was created around 1036 for Western Xia state writing and Buddhist translation. It continued after the dynasty fell; the latest known inscription is dated 1502. Its forms drew on Chinese and Khitan writing, but its character-building rules are distinct.
A historical written pronoun; its sentence supplies the context for its meaning.
