What 𘋙 means
A Tangut dictionary glosses 𘋙 as “bank.”
Li Fanwen’s English index gives entry 5825 this gloss; it does not specify a riverbank or a financial bank.
Western Xia, a Tangut state, commissioned the script in 1036 for state-building and Buddhist scriptures. Khara-Khoto manuscripts probably date to the 12th or early 13th century. The Tangut language left daily use after the Mongol conquest in the 13th century.
