What 𘌨 means
“To drip.” Li Fanwen’s 2008 dictionary maps 𘌨 to L2008-5537 under that gloss.
Western Xia was a Tangut-led state in what is now northwestern China. Its ruler Li Yuanhao commissioned the Tangut script in 1036 for state-building. The script drew chiefly on Chinese writing; possible Khitan influence is debated.
Tangut writing served government correspondence and carried Buddhist translations, educational and military texts, and literature. Buddhist stone pillars with Tangut ritual inscriptions dated 1502 show the script survived after Western Xia fell in 1227.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
