What 𘍆 means
Grey. Is 𘍆 Chinese? No. It is a Tangut word, written in the Xixia script; the square forms echo Chinese writing.
Western Xia’s court created the Tangut script around 1036 to write the language and mark a distinct Tangut identity. It appeared in official, private, and religious texts. After Western Xia fell in 1227, writing continued under the Yuan and Ming dynasties, then became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. Scholars rediscovered the script in the late 19th century.
Use it in Tangut text, historical study, or font testing; it has no standard emoji reading.

1Why does 𘍆 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
