What 𘏄 means

𘏄 is glossed “to eliminate.”

The Tangut script was promulgated in 1036, two years before Western Xia was founded in 1038. It served official writing and Buddhist translation. Its distinct characters drew on Chinese writing; some scholars also propose Khitan influence. Tangut texts continued into the Ming period. Unicode’s number-based label identifies the code point, not the word.

Historical and scholarly; it belongs in Tangut-language texts.

Chinese-style forms do not make it a Chinese character.
