What 𘏠 means
The dictionary gloss is “to penetrate.”
Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary indexes it as L5457; its English-language index gives that gloss. L5457 is an entry number, not a pronunciation.
Why can it look Chinese?
Tangut is its own script, influenced by Chinese and the Khitan script.
It developed under Western Xia, a state in what is now northwestern China, for official, private, and religious texts. Tangut writing continued in Yuan and Ming settings.
A historical script, chiefly scholarly today.
Chinese-looking does not mean Chinese.
