What 𘑿 means
The dictionary gloss is “skill.”
Li Yuanhao, Western Xia’s emperor, ordered the script created in 1036 as part of state-building; a Tangut Buddhist Canon was a main aim. Tangut writing remained in use under the Yuan and Ming, becoming obsolete by the end of the Ming. Its forms drew visual inspiration from Chinese writing but served the Tangut language.
A scholarly reconstruction gives its Tangut reading as lon.
Historical and scholarly; it fits discussion of Tangut or Western Xia material.
Its Chinese-influenced appearance does not make it Chinese text.

1Why does 𘑿 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
