What 𘓲 means
Its best plain-English gloss is “blue-green.”
A Tangut–Chinese dictionary lists 𘓲 as entry 0654 and glosses it “blue and green.” Tangut writing arose under Western Xia rule around 1036 to write the Tangut language. Its square-shaped style shares visual conventions with Chinese and Khitan scripts, but its characters write a different language. The earliest Tangut document is dated 1072; a Liangzhou stele—an upright stone bearing an inscription—followed in 1094. Tangut texts served government, Buddhism, law, and secular learning.
Tangut writing outlived the Western Xia state: a known inscription dates to 1502.
Historical and specialist; a modern message reads as a reference to Tangut text or study.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘓲 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
