What 𘖂 means
It is glossed “copper.”
Li Fanwen’s Tangut–Chinese dictionary catalogs it as entry 4880; its English index gives “copper” as the gloss. This is a dictionary gloss, not a modern Chinese reading.
Is Tangut Chinese?
No. Tangut is a separate writing system.
Western Xia introduced Tangut for official and cultural writing in 1036. It writes the Tangut language, not Chinese; readers who know Chinese may recognize its design, but the scripts are not mutually readable.
Tangut books included Buddhist texts translated from Chinese and Tibetan and printed using carved blocks. Writing continued after Western Xia; the latest known example is dated 1502.

1Why does 𘖂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
