What 𘖭 means
The dictionary gloss is “ploughshare.” It names a farm tool, not a picture.
Is 𘖭 a Chinese character?
No; it is a separate script. Introduced in 1036, it helped Western Xia assert a distinct Tangut identity and produce Buddhist scripture. Its forms drew on Chinese writing; neighboring Khitan people had made scripts about a century before. It also carried Chinese works translated into Tangut. Tangut Buddhist texts remained important for printing under the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty after Western Xia fell in 1227.

Questions people ask
1Why can 𘖭 look different in another font?
They can: fonts draw outlines differently. The standard shape followed a font used in Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut-Chinese dictionary; a 2025 Unicode proposal recommends changing one small part, though the original evidence is inconclusive.
