What 𘗰 means
It is glossed “false” in Tangut. Li Fanwen’s 2008 dictionary indexes 𘗰 as L2008-1746; the gloss translates the word rather than reading its strokes as a picture.
The Tangut script developed under Western Xia around 1036. A manuscript from the Khara-khoto site, probably from the 12th or early 13th century, preserves it. Tangut writing continued through the Yuan and Ming dynasties. The script drew on Chinese and Khitan writing but remained distinct.
Historical and specialist; its natural context is Tangut texts and study of the script.

1Why does 𘗰 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
