What 𘘭 means
It is glossed as “alcoholic drink.” The code-style label identifies the character; dictionary entry 0353 supplies the gloss.
Created in 1036 under Western Xia’s first emperor, Tangut writing served the state’s identity apart from Song China and a Buddhist canon. It carried Buddhist, Confucian, military, literary, and translated Chinese works. A manuscript from the Khara-Khoto ruins in Inner Mongolia probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century. The script drew on Chinese forms and the earlier state script of the neighboring Khitan, but remained distinct. It survived into the Yuan and Ming periods and became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty.
Use it for a Tangut or historical reference, not as a standalone drink sign.
Without context, a recipient may not recognize the drink gloss.

1Why does 𘘭 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
