Tangut Character for Slow

5708/6136

𘙋 is the Tangut character for “slow,” also glossed “lazy.” The Western Xia court established Tangut writing for official correspondence in 1036; by 1038, a state committee was translating Buddhist sutras into Tangut. Its structure drew on Chinese characters, but it was used to write the separate Tangut language.

Why does 𘙋 show as a box on some devices?

Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
