What 𘙜 means
It is a Tangut character from a historical writing system.
The Tangut script formed part of Western Xia's imperial project under its first emperor in the 11th century. It served official, private, and religious writing, including books, Buddhist sutras, inscriptions, and manuscripts. It remained in use under later dynasties after Western Xia fell; a Tangut inscription from 1502 shows that writing continued beyond the kingdom.
Why does 𘙜 look Chinese?
Tangut was modeled on Chinese and Khitan writing, but serves another language.
Khitan was another historical script used in the region. Tangut writes a different language, so resemblance alone cannot supply a Chinese translation for 𘙜 or make a Chinese character a substitute.
Historical Tangut texts used vertical columns ordered from right to left. Digital Tangut text is laid out horizontally from left to right.
Why is 𘙜 showing as a box?
The font may not include Tangut characters.
The character can be present even when the installed font cannot draw it. Your device needs a font with Tangut coverage to show its shape; a similar-looking Chinese character would be a different character.
A historical written character; translation depends on Tangut context.
Its Chinese-like shape does not make it a Chinese character.
