What 𘜋 means
A Tangut dictionary glosses it as “surname.”
L0420 is the dictionary’s catalogue label for this glyph, not another Tangut word.
In 1036, Emperor Li Yuanhao began Tangut writing to support the state, a Buddhist canon, and a distinct identity from Song China. It adapted Chinese writing principles and followed a Khitan precedent while remaining its own script. A manuscript found at Khara-khoto probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century. The Tangut state fell in 1227, but writing continued in Buddhist and translated texts.
Historical and scholarly; its dictionary gloss needs Tangut context.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘜋 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
