What 𘜱 means
It is glossed as “belt.” Li Fanwen’s 2008 dictionary lists it as entry 4468.
Li Yuanhao, ruler of the Western Xia kingdom, established Tangut writing around 1036 to give the state its own script and support a Buddhist canon, a collection of scriptures. It served government, private writing, Buddhist texts and translations. The earliest surviving Tangut document is dated 1072. Its design drew on Chinese writing and Khitan script traditions, yet remained distinct; use continued under the Yuan and Ming dynasties.
