What 𘝔 means
It is the Tangut character glossed as “string.”
A Tangut dictionary index glosses 𘝔 as “string.” The script was made for the Tangut language, with Chinese influence but a distinct writing system.
Li Yuanhao, ruler of Western Xia (Xixia), ordered the script in 1036. The earliest securely dated Tangut document is from 1069 or 1070; undated texts may be older. Tangut writing served official records and Buddhist translations; surviving 12th–13th-century records also include legal texts. Those dates describe the script and corpus, not a dated appearance of 𘝔.
