What 𘝫 means
It is glossed “to salute” in Tangut.
Xixia (Western Xia) was a Tangut state. Its script was created in 1036–1037 for records and translated texts. The earliest surviving example is an official document from 1072. Tangut continued to be used in Buddhist texts after the state fell in 1227.
Tangut writing has a Chinese-influenced structure, but represents the Tangut language. That influence does not make 𘝫 a Chinese character.
Historical vocabulary, documented through a scholarly dictionary gloss.
