What 𘞠 means
𘞠 is a Tangut character for “who.”
The Tangut script was created around 1036 to write the Tangut language and support Western Xia’s official culture. Its strokes reflect Chinese writing, but it is distinct; similar character-building methods also occur in Khitan and Jurchen scripts from the region, without establishing a direct source for 𘞠.
After the Mongol conquest, Tangut writing continued in the Yuan and Ming dynasties until it became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. Scholars rediscovered it in the late 19th century and largely deciphered it in the early 20th century; surviving texts include Buddhist works and official records.
Historical and specialist; it signals interest in Tangut writing or Western Xia history.
If it renders as a box or blank, the font lacks Tangut support; the character is still 𘞠.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘞠 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
