What 𘟝 means
Li Fanwen’s 2008 dictionary lists it under “power.”
𘟝 is Tangut, not Chinese. About 1036, Western Xia’s first emperor made Tangut the official script for government and culture; it also served Buddhist texts.
Tangut use continued through the Yuan and Ming after the Mongol conquest, ending by the end of Ming. A 2018 study suggests Khitan writing, another regional script, influenced Tangut character-building, though the scripts are distinct.
