What 𝍖 means
It means nurturing: care that helps life grow.
Mandarin yǎng, roughly “yahng” with a dipping tone, means raising, nourishing, or supporting body and mind. Traditional Chinese writes it 養; simplified Chinese writes it 养.
Yang Xiong’s Tai Xuan Jing is a Chinese divination text modeled on the Yijing (Book of Changes). Three line types form its four-line figures. The oldest surviving version is a Jin-dynasty edited text by Fan Wang, who grouped commentaries by figure.
