129/240

VS145 is an invisible selector meant to specify the drawn form of a preceding Chinese, Japanese, or Korean character. It has no stand-alone meaning; Unicode’s Ideographic Variation Database (IVD) lists no registered sequence using it as of 2026-08-03.

What 󠆀 means

VS145 is defined for registered ideographic variation sequences.

An ideographic variation sequence (IVS) pairs a CJK ideograph—a character used in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean writing—with a selector to request a particular drawn form. The selector’s number is not a universal style label; its effect depends on the ideograph it follows.

Why is VS145 invisible?

A variation selector has no ordinary visible form.

Unicode says unsupported or unregistered sequences display the base character as usual. So a string can contain VS145 without showing a mark.
