What 󠄂 means
It selects a written form only in a registered sequence. A Han ideograph is a Chinese character also used in Japanese and Korean writing. An ideographic variation sequence (IVS) pairs a base character and a selector to identify a recognized shape. VS19 works only when that exact pair is supported.
By 2001, Unicode discussions covered selecting personal-name forms, preserving East Asian glyph choices when text moved between systems, and Buddhist-text variants that did not need separate characters. Selectors for Mongolian letter shaping and emoji appearance follow different rules. Without support for the exact pair, the base appears as usual and VS19 stays invisible.
Technical text data, not a conversational signal.
Appending VS19 arbitrarily has no defined effect; use it only in a registered pair.

Questions people ask
1Why does 󠄂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
