What 󠇗 means
It needs a specific ideograph before it.
An ideograph is a Chinese, Japanese, or Korean character. The base and selector form an ideographic variation sequence (IVS); use only registered pairs, since the selector number alone does not identify a form.
Why is VS232 invisible?
It has no visible shape on its own.
A font or app must support the exact pair. Otherwise it usually ignores the selector and displays the base character's usual form.

Questions people ask
1Why does 󠇗 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Variation Selectors Supplement block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
