What 𐺔 means
It is a letter for a d-like sound inside a word.
The Yezidi script is used to write Kurmanji, a variety of Kurdish, from right to left. Alone, 𐺔 is a letter sample, not a complete statement.
The script’s earliest documented use is Yezidi religious writing. Masḥafā Reš and Ketēbā Jelwa may date to the 12th or 13th centuries, but their original manuscripts are lost; the texts became known through publications in 1911 and 1913. Scholars generally regard the published works as forgeries rather than authentic Yezidi religious texts, though their contents reflect older oral traditions. In 2013, Georgia’s Spiritual Council revived the script for prayers, sacred books, temple inscriptions, letterhead, and heraldry.
Religious, scholarly, or linguistic; it functions as a letter within Yezidi writing.
Arabic ض shows a sound correspondence; it cannot replace 𐺔 in Yezidi text.
