What ꌃ means
Its meaning comes from the surrounding Nuosu words.
Traditional Yi writing (Cuan or Wei) varied locally; village priests kept religious, magical, medical and genealogical texts. A tradition credits Aki with its creation during the Tang dynasty (618–907); the oldest surviving inscription is on a bronze bell dated 1485. The Liangshan Nuosu standard, based on older Yi forms, was devised in 1974 and promulgated in 1980 for Nuosu, not every Yi variety. Traditional signs appear unrelated to Han characters.
