𞥀 is the lowercase Adlam letter for the /g͡b/ consonant, used in Fula words including loanwords and proper names. Adlam developed in Guinea around 1989 for writing Fulfulde, whose Arabic- and Latin-based spellings did not always show its sounds clearly.

What 𞥀 means

It represents /g͡b/, a consonant released from “g” into “b.” In Fula, also called Fulfulde, Gbe is a supplementary letter used for loanwords and proper names.

Adlam developed in Guinea around 1989 as a way to write Fulfulde. It is written from right to left, and some letters can join; those conventions draw on Arabic writing. Adlam has its own distinct letter shapes.

Why does 𞥀 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
