What ﭷ means
It writes Sindhi’s “ny” consonant. Nyeh is a nasal sound made with the middle of the tongue raised toward the roof of the mouth, similar to the sound in “canyon.” This page shows its final-position form; the base letter is ڃ.
Sindhi adapted the Perso-Arabic script with added marks for sounds that Arabic does not distinguish. Sindhi Manzoomia, dated 1067–1069 AH, is an early witness to that tradition and uses added dots for Sindhi sounds. The modern 52-letter Perso-Arabic standard was formalized under British administration in 1853.
Why does this letter have a final form?
This is a pre-shaped compatibility form, not a separate letter. Arabic-script text normally stores the base character and lets software choose its joining shape from context. Use ڃ in ordinary text; reserve ﭷ for legacy material or tests that specifically require this encoded form.
Sindhi is also written in scripts including Devanagari, Khudabadi, and Khojki. In the Perso-Arabic tradition, added marks distinguish sounds not represented in Arabic; the related Sindhi letter ڇ, Tcheheh, is another example.
