What ◣ means
Nothing fixed: it is a shape, used for decoration.
It turns up in decorated nicknames, social bios and headings, where corner triangles can frame a word like brackets, as in ◣ NAME , or in text art, where the four corners build slopes, arrows and blocky pictures. Any meaning comes from the layout around it.
Its roots are older than emoji. Some home computers of the late 1970s and 1980s drew screen pictures from ready-made graphic symbols placed in the grid of text cells, and corner triangles were among them; a 2021 Unicode list records ◣ in several such character sets, from Japan's Sharp MZ and X1 to East Germany's Robotron Z9001.
