What 𠭣 means
A rare form of 豚, meaning “piglet” or “pig.” Unicode maps 𠭣 to 𠭣; Taiwan’s Ministry of Education lists it as a variant of 豚. Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese dictionary, explains an older 豚 form as a hand holding meat for ritual offerings.
Tag T5-3131 identifies Taiwan’s CNS 11643 source position. At a December 1999 meeting, Taiwan proposed compatibility codes to let CNS text convert to Unicode and back without losing that position.
