What 𤲒 means
A rare word for a woven container.
A Chinese dictionary gives 𤲒 the Mandarin pinyin reading píng. The Guangyun, an early Chinese rhyme dictionary, glosses it as a container woven from cattail reeds.
The later Zhengzitong dictionary gives an older explanation as a bamboo basket or cattail vessel; it calls 𢆟 the earlier form and says the Zihui dictionary mistakenly printed 𤲒.
An encoding-preservation character with a rare dictionary word underneath.
If the source code matters, normalization can collapse 𤲒 into 𤲒.
