What 𩐊 means
It is a compatibility form in the 齏 family.
Taiwan's 2024 Ministry of Education Dictionary of Chinese Character Variants lists 𩐊 and 𩐊 as written variants of 齏. The ministry's Mandarin dictionary defines 齏 as finely chopped pungent ingredients or vegetables used for seasoning.
Why does 𩐊 turn into 𩐊?
NFKC turns it into 𩐊.
NFKC is Unicode's compatibility-normalization form: it deliberately removes this encoding distinction. If you need to convert text back to the original Taiwan character-set entry, keep this character unnormalized until the conversion is complete.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𩐊 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
