What 𠀬 means

The Kangxi Dictionary lists 𠀬 as an ancient form of 㐁.

The Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese character dictionary completed around 100 CE, glosses 㐁 as “tongue’s appearance” and describes its shape as a picture. It also records bamboo’s outer skin as a separate sense.

Other lexicons record “mat,” “without light,” and “pick up with the tongue,” so context matters. Mandarin readings of 𠀬 differ: dictionary entries give tiǎn and tiàn.
