What 𠇯 means
On Cangjie, enter OOM.
Cangjie is a Chinese input method that selects characters by their written components. Taiwan’s CNS11643 record lists 人人一 (OOM) for this glyph.
What does 𠇯 mean?
It is a rare written variant of 去, the Chinese character for “go” or “leave.”
The Longkan Shoujian (997), a Chinese character dictionary compiled to help readers with Buddhist texts, records 𠇯 as a colloquial form of 去. A Japanese kanji dictionary also lists it with 去 and 厺 as variant forms, with readings glossed as “leave,” “go,” and “remove.” Use 去 in ordinary Chinese writing; keep 𠇯 when an exact transcription calls for it.
Why does 𠇯 display as a box?
The font in use may not contain this rare glyph.
This is a text character, so the selected font has to draw it. The 2024 CNS11643 entry says Windows 10 and later include it in their default fonts.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𠇯 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension B block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
