What 𠮽 means
It is a rare form of 弄, read in Mandarin as lòng.
An early trace survives in the medieval Chinese character dictionary 四聲篇海, which quotes the lost pronunciation book 搜真玉鏡: “𠮽 sounds like 弄.” A study estimates that book dates to the Song–Liao period; the citation gives no gloss of its own.
The ancient Chinese character dictionary 說文解字 explains 弄 as “play with,” describing two hands holding jade. In Mandarin, 弄 also means “handle” or “do.”

Questions people ask
1Why does 𠮽 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension B block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
